Other Fab Stuff

Pride fish is a storybook animation based on the children’s book ‘rainbow fish’. Inspired by a parody kids’ books for adults’ range, Waterloo Manor Recovery College used this concept to try and use a colourful visual platform and simple plot to discuss a serious issue of misunderstanding, daring to be yourself and Pride. The book includes hidden Pride easter eggs and links back to our Recovery College sessions on Pride and LQBTQ+.

Opposite are some photographs we took with Clifton House from our visit to Barley Hall in York with for their annual Pride event.

Barley Hall is a reconstructed medieval townhouse in the city of York, England. It was built around 1360 by the monks of Nostell Priory near Wakefield and extended in the 15th century.
