He says: I enjoyed getting off the ward to take my mind off things. I enjoyed learning some new skills. I declined to get involved with the editing as I struggled to grasp how to use the editing suite but I was always there giving instructions on what I wanted and discussing any alterations that took place. I am very proud of what we have produced and I’m excited for people to see it. I am looking to enter the work into various national competitions this year. I am looking forward to creating another film soon. WR

The film!

Functional to Fabulous The Film Title Track

Here is an MP3 of an audio track that was recorded as part of the sound track to our upcoming Network film! This was written and recorded by a service user who has been attending the Network for a while and perfectly captures in his lyrics what the Network is all about!

Service User Guide to Occupational Therapy Film

There have been many projects to come out of the Network meetings. One of these has been the Service User Guide to Occupational Therapy. There was a request sent out from the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) to develop a service user friendly version of the new Occupational Therapy Guidelines.

The Network put in a bid to develop these and we were successful. We developed a leaflet as well as a short film using graphics from Imagineer to illustrate examples of the standards to make them accessible.
