This was a 3 year CQUIN that ran from 2016 to 2019. Services were required to co-develop a Recovery College with co-developed and delivered courses across their services. People were asked to share their interests and these had the opportunity to become courses in the Recovery Colleges. A prospectus was developed by the Colleges with outcome measures for each course, and service users attended Train the Trainer courses as well as courses around co-facilitation and delivery to support them to gain the confidence to be involved in this way. These standards were felt to be important to ensure that the Recovery Colleges that have been developed keep going without the CQUIN to support them. In order to support this further, we have held and continue to hold Recovery College Showcases across Yorkshire and Humber to share best practice as well as courses and ideas across the patch.
