Hello everyone!! Happy New Year!!

So last year was full of exciting developments, here we will mention a few:

At the beginning  of the year we had our annual Reducing Restrictive Practice meeting. In the summer we had our annual Recovery College showcase; both of which were very well received and attended! Look out for information about both of these in the coming year.

We completed our report to support the Personality Disorder Strategy where we spoke to service users and staff across PD services in the region through a series of individual interviews and focus groups.

We launched our new website at the annual conference in September!

We held our first (and then subsequent) local engagement events for each of the 3 Provider Collaboratives – these are now established as quarterly meetings. We also developed engagement plans for each of these with plans for our work together will develop going forward.

We carried out specific workshops with all provider services within each of the Provider Collaboratives focusing on 3 main areas – Pathways, Community support and Transitions. We have also carried out a series of workshops and focus groups with patients who are from Yorkshire and Humber but currently placed Out Of Area.

We have had 9 months of the new Healthy Weight CQUIN, with quarterly meetings and exciting new Masterclasses!

We began discussions around Peer Support and Peer Based Approaches, and will be talking a lot more about this and developing these roles and a Yorkshire and Humber strategy for this over the coming months.

We have continued with our 5 year Strategy From Functional to Fabulous!

All of the information from these events can be found on the relevant pages on this website – do have a look and let us know what you think!

The SeQuIn Tool was finalised after a lot of testing/piloting/refining over the last few years, with support from UCLAN and sponsorship from InMind Healthcare.

We are developing a Yorkshire and Humber Network film!

So – looking forward to the year ahead!

The SeQuIn Tool is now live!! Starting with Involvement in January all services will be benchmarking themselves each month on the different standards and uploading the scores and evidence to the SeQuIn section of the website so that each service can see how they are performing, share ideas an best practice and develop their action plans to improve on these areas before re-benchmarking next year, and of course to celebrate all of the hard work that they have done and continue to do every day.

Most of the events from last year will be continuing and developing, in particular around the Provider Collaborative work-streams and in line with our From Functional to Fabulous Strategy.

And we would like to announce the new member of our Involvement Team who is joining us for the next 6 months to work alongside us – some of you may know her already – it is Charlotte from Waterloo Manor!! We know you will all make her feel very welcome and we look forward to her bringing her inspiring and creative energy to the Network!

So finally we would like to say thank you to everyone for your hard work over the last year, and we very much look forward to continuing the work with you over the next 12 months and beyond.

“We may not have it all together, but together we have it all”

Thanks

Holly and Jo
