The Care Programme Approach (CPA) Standards were developed in Yorkshire and Humber by the Network in 2010/11 and used as a local CQUIN initially. In 2012/13 the CPA Standards were used as a national CQUIN in secure mental health services. In 2018 the standards were revisited by the Involvement Network and refined for the purpose of this SeQuIn Tool and to reflect the positive changes that have been made in CPA’s throughout that time and make them more reflective of current concerns. There are now 12 standards, and this is accompanied by a Checklist as well as an Evaluation Questionnaire.
