Rick here, an avid Harry Potter fan and a lover of the great outdoors! I love anything that gets me out and about, and I am usually out of my bike or walking round a wood or forest somewhere, normally with my headphones in blasting out a few tunes! Originally from Manchester, moving to Doncaster in 2014, my background is in performance coaching in sales and customer service in the financial services and telecoms industries. Ultimately, my passion is exploring creative ways to empower people to be the best version of themselves, regardless of barriers. I guess this is why performance coaching always featured heavily in my previous jobs!

I joined the Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network team in August 2023 after working in an Adult Secure service in Doncaster as Recovery College Lead for six years. I joined the team because I believe in the power of the service user voice and involvement, and the positive changes this can bring to services, and I wanted to be a part of that.
